RACE FOR THE CURE

Komen for the Cure® and the following institutions: the Franco-Brazilian Oncology Society, theBrazilian Federation of Philanthropic Breast Health Institutions (FEMAMA) and the Oncoguia Institute. RIO UP RUN RACE
This is the first cross-country race over an 8 km distance to be carried out in pacified (by public security) low income communities in the Southern Area of Rio de Janeiro. You should be prepared to handle some difficulties such as: steep inclines, stairs, narrow streets, alleys, ramps, rough ground and the possibility of mud in certain points along the way. The competition will have available all of the equipment and trained personnel on hand necessary to guarantee your safety. Be prepared to surpass your own limits.
